We are recruiting

We are looking to expand our team of coaches and are currently looking for a Level 2 coach.

We are seeking a passionate individual for an exciting position at a fast paced, professional and dynamic tennis academy within the East Region.

The main aim of the role is to continue to develop and deliver the successful coaching programmes across our academics, supported by the head and deputy coaches.

We are ideally seeking a Level 2 or above qualified coach, however if you are a Level 1 with significant, recent playing experience, you will be considered for the role.

You will assist group training sessions and develop your own session plans.

You will also develop our 1:1 lessons, working with both adults and juniors, from beginner level up to performance.

The successful candidate will be passionate about coaching, people and the sport, must have a positive attitude and be a confident communicator.

Titan prides itself on enthusiasm and confidence. Coaches must be able to instil that enthusiasm into every session delivered and have the confidence to deliver professional, quality lessons with a personable touch so that both players and parents feels comfortable and included. We would also expect that a level of fun is brought into sessions to ensure players enjoy whilst learning.

You will be expected to assist with the set up and pack away from sessions, greet players and parents, organise the register of attendees and deliver the session with coaches, therefore a good level of organisation and matureness is essential.

Other possible opportunities / responsibilities within the role include:
• To coach a wide range of sessions including after school junior groups, weekend junior mornings, performance academy sessions, school holiday camps, mini tots, 1:1 lessons, assist with the hosting of tournaments and offer tournament support to our performance players.
• Work with the head and deputy coach to develop new innovative sessions
• Titan is constantly growing and developing and there will be opportunities to grow with the business, take on extra responsibilities.
• The company actively supports staff who wish to further their qualifications and skills.

Your hours during term time will be reasonably regular each week and you must be prepared to work evenings and weekends. Additional hours will be given on an ad hoc basis and therefore a degree of flexibility with availability is desired. Coaches will be expected to work all year round, with the exception of Christmas when the academy closes. Yonex staff uniforms will be supplied.

It will be your responsibility to ensure you have an up to date DBS check and appropriate first aid training. The company will provide your safe guarding training. All applicants must be, as a minimum, accredited with the LTA.
